With a background spanning machine learning and property delivery, he champions a product mindset—treating each community as an evolving system that can be sensed, measured, and improved. Under his leadership, the team applies predictive analytics to site selection, design iteration, and sales velocity, while Smart Living and Sustainability features are specified to reduce lifetime operating costs without compromising aesthetics. David partners closely with universities and capital advisors to validate assumptions, structure risk, and scale repeatable models across Queensland and beyond. His north star: homes that feel lighter, safer, and more efficient on day one—and keep getting better with every data point.

His mandate is not to “connect devices”, but to ensure the home, the street and the community infrastructure share one coherent technical language — one that is reliable on day one, maintainable on day 1,000, and measurable across the entire lifecycle.

His philosophy is simple:

Reliability is the first principle of intelligence. Elegant user experience must sit on top of maintainability.

He structures Smart Village systems around three non-negotiable technical rails:

  • metering (know what’s happening)
     
  • control (act in the right place)
     
  • integration (ensure every part works as one)
     

These are not “features”. These are the neural network of an intelligent community.

He defines interconnect standards across devices, sensors, solar / storage readiness, digital metering and home interaction layers — ensuring that “one app, total control” is not a marketing slogan, but a commissioning-day reality.

She builds HR on three core anchors:

Her work spans end-to-end talent acquisition, competency modelling, multi-disciplinary team formation, training systems and leadership development — supporting product, engineering, energy systems and operations simultaneously, not in silos.

With a decade of experience in intelligent hardware and applied digital engineering, he specialises in taking technology out of the lab and embedding it into the physical realities of residential infrastructure.

For him, engineering is not about feature density —
it is about reducing the gap between real-world context and technical capability.

His work focuses on three strategic outcomes:
